Ford Bostwick is a visual artist and designer based in Brooklyn. His furniture designs unite his backgrounds in architecture, sculpture and engineering, and employ both analog and digital fabrication techniques. He works in a range of materials including metals, hardwoods, plastics, stone and concrete, and expresses each material’s unique properties in the forms he creates.
Curl Table - Ford Bostwick
Curl Coffee Table is made of thermoformed solid surface, a durable, sustainable and foodsafe countertop material with a stonelike feel. The curved base provides structure, while the material’s thinness and eggshell finish make the simple form appear abstract.
