Stienta, Italy

Portego is a design brand which connects – through a synergy of processes and knowledge – the talents of designers with the commitment of craftsmen, leading to the production of items which express profound love for Italian manufacturing excellence.
With strong links to its home region, the Veneto, with its rich cultural, artistic and historic heritage, Portego selects the best local craft manufacturers and involves them in the production of high-design products, which are contemporary yet express echoes of the past.
The Veneto region is, as a matter of fact, particularly rich in areas of specialised manufacturing, each with its own tradition and craft identity: a heritage which requires protection and updating through the planning quality of high design and technological and digital knowledge.
Portego then connects the skills of the craft manufacturers with talented designers, brought together by their sensitivity towards craft manufacturing techniques and the ability to revive them in contemporary objects with a timeless appeal.
It is a virtuous platform, conceived by Flavia Testi and Stefano Rossi, which – by operating within a limited area – guarantees the quality of human relations between all those involved, traceability of the materials used and the sustainability of the entire production process.

SPINA B3.1

Spina is a collection of lacquered tables and seatings.

The lacquered surfaces and consistent rhythm of the planes create a visual play of light, shadow and reflection, adding depth and richness to this already visually graphic collection. The elements of the line are characterized by a dense skeletal base that supports a smaller horizontal plane along its axis.
